The Culinary Arts Study Program (Food Management) is a Diploma 3 educational program under the auspices of the Hospitality Department in the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic with the status of the country in Eastern Indonesia which has been accredited by BAN-PT with lecturers and teaching staff who are qualified S1, S2 and S3 as well as domestic and foreign experience.

In order to produce competent students in the Culinary Arts field, there are facilities and infrastructures for international standard practicum laboratories in the form of a Kitchen Lab, language laboratory, IT, library and self study room facilities.

After completing this education program, graduates have competency in managing food processing operations.

  3. Making and developing food processing and applying it to various forms of food serving;
  4. Oversee the operations of the food processing section
  5. Arrange operational budget for food processing division
  6. Determine the selling price of food
  7. Managing human resources in the food processing division
  8. Implement operational control systems for food processing
  9. Establish technical aspects of the layout and design of the kitchen
  10. Using Information Technology in the food processing section
  11. Oversee the implementation of Hygiene, Sanitation and Work Safety for Entrepreneurs and create jobs in the field of food processing
  12. Read and analyze reports
  13. Communicate in English and
  14. Communicate in other Foreign Languages
